Orange Grove Mental Health offers a psychiatric care experience many patients have been looking for, one where they don’t feel rushed, judged, or reduced to a diagnosis.
I’m a board-certified Physician Assistant with a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Psychiatry. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and completed my Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Nova Southeastern University. My training and clinical experience focus on treating anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and mood disorders.
In visits with me, the goal isn’t just symptom control. It is understanding the full picture. We look at sleep, stress, relationships, life transitions, physical health, and daily functioning, not just medications. When medication is helpful, I prescribe thoughtfully and conservatively and explain the reasoning behind recommendations so you feel comfortable and informed.
Many patients come in unsure of what they need, whether therapy, medication, or simply clarity about what they’re experiencing. We figure that out together. My role is to guide, educate, and support you so decisions feel collaborative rather than overwhelming.
Outside of the office, I enjoy reading, cooking, yoga, and time with family and friends. These parts of my life shape how I view mental health as something deeply connected to daily living, routines, relationships, and sense of purpose.
